I did get a photo yesterday, but I haven't uploaded it yet. I didn't get any today. I cooked a leg of lamb (planning to cut most of it up for freezing, obviously, and later use). It didn't come out as I remember from my childhood, but then, I discovered too late I didn't have garlic salt, only a garlic and herb mix, and I wasn't sure of the cooking time and overdid it a bit. Fortunately it was forgiving - I know I overdid it but I don't mind eating it. It tastes fairly good, just not as good as I was hoping for.

Spent time petting the cats and playing with them - Basta was having fun chasing the toy! I think she'd rather have had lamb, but I didn't offer that option. ;) Hee.

After that, spent the early evening on the computer and the rest of the time sprawled next to Scott reading. A lovely evening, but I have realized that a few things I'd intended to get done did not get done. Oh well. Tomorrow for those. Not real happy that I didn't get them done, but very happy that I had a relaxed evening as I now feel a lot more sane, centered, and grounded.

Past time for bed, though.

Yum! I love lamb! Especially roasted leg of lamb! My mom taught me to cook it with an onion soup mix for a topping. The skin comes out awesome.

I only get it once each year if I am lucky as Robin doesn't eat it. I need to invite people over and oddly lamb seems to be one of those things that you either love or hate and I don't know that many who love it.

Now I am longing for a lamb sandwhich.
