1. Can you cook?

Sort of, yeah. I don't really know all the details of what I'm doing, but apparently I can at least follow some recipes approximately. I didn't think I could but maybe I was just picking the wrong recipes - even botched, my attempt at Mom's lamb recipe was pretty decent.

2. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator?

Haul out my handy new cell phone and call for help? Press the emergency button? It really depends in part on the circumstances and what elevator I was stuck in. I'd probably start to freak out at some point, though.

3. What talent do you wish you had?

Time travel. Or, if you want a slightly-more-realistic one, fitting more into each day (no, I know people who do!). Mostly, I wish I had more time and energy and focus to follow up - talent doesn't do you much without applying it.

4. Favorite place?

Oregon. (If I have to pick a place in Oregon, it's much harder. I like it here at home. But out on the Ridge...that's precious. And so are some campgrounds along the Nestucca River Road. I haven't seen them in two decades and they might not even be the same. The Japanese Gardens, but they're behind those other things. Multnomah Falls. The beach. The Devil's Punch Bowl. But all these things are in Oregon.)

5. Favorite vegetable?

Varies. Sugar snap peas are the most probable one, though I really like corn too.

6. What was the last book you read?

Terrier's the last one I finished.

7. Are you Dirty or Clean?

If you refer to my hygeine, clean. If you refer to drugs, clean. If you refer to my housekeeping.... *looks around* Cluttered, at best.

8. Any Tattoos and/or Piercings?

No. I had pierced ears once, but they got better.

9. Worst Habit?

Procrastination.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out how anyone can answer 'no' to the 'kept anything back' question if they've known someone for more than five minutes, because there's always times when you don't share something, often for benign reasons. I suspect the original author meant that to be 'that you should have told me' but it doesn't say that....

1. Can you cook? I sure can. I don't get much opportunity to cook all the things I like to cook because Robin doesn't like them. I tend to stick with pasta dishes a lot because she likes those. I am pretty good at Mexican and seafood dishes but she won't go near either of those, nor lamb. :(
2. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator? Sit down and play with my Pocket PC.
3. What talent do you wish you had? I wish I could play guitar
4. Favorite place? Duh! OK, Grand Canyon
5. Favorite vegetable? I like many but potato is my all time favorite
6. What was the last book you read? Saturn's Race
7. Are you Dirty or Clean? Mostly clean... perhaps the occasional unclean thought.

2. What's your philosophy on life? It depends on my mood but it's frequently "Life sucks, then you die"
3. Negative or Optimistic? Leaning towards the negative but it balances out I guess
4. What was your dream growing up? I wanted to be an astronaut
5. Worst thing to ever happen to you? Depression
6. Would you give me money or a slap in the face? Money (if available)... I can't image why I would want to slap you.
7. Tell me one weird fact about you: I have short fingers (which is probably why I will never play guitar)
8. Would you have my back or kick me when I'm down? I would never kick anyone
