Many of the bills and mail did generate new "to call" items, to my dismay. However, what I'd thought were further bills were actually acknowledgment that insurance coverage ceased on the dates of death. Of course the one for Dad promptly indicates it restarts the next day, so that's another call, I guess....

The to-do list is not really much shorter, but at least it is better defined.

I am so far behind on my other to-do items, like replying to my own email. Then again, I'm usually behind on some of that, it just feels more frantic now. For several days I've been trading sleep for getting-things-done. This is not a good idea and I didn't do it last night and I'm not doing it tonight. It only means I'm more frazzled, which leads to more time spent not getting a darned thing done, or getting things done inefficiently or wrong. AND it's unpleasant and stressful. Therefore, I will go to bed at a reasonable hour (based on my usual schedule and my body's expectations) tonight.

The cats? the cats are insane. :) Uncle Jim gave us a cat toy - I forget the name - apparently the company that made it stopped (or went out of business) and they got a bunch. It's really basic, a sort of fishing rod with an elastic cord and a little fabric bundle at the end. And they like it better, now, than any of the other 'fishing' type toys we have. It's hysterical. Anyway, the photos are now uploading and will be here when they complete: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kyrielle/archives/date-posted/2007/01/25/

That has today's photo-a-day tree and will have five cat photos when the upload is done. Feel free to comment, here or there; I enjoy comments. (Feel free to not comment, if you'd rather not, of course. :)

Tigger's favorite fishing toy right now is just the rod, with the string and the chain... without anything attached to the other end. She just loves to chase that little piece of chain and she drags this thing all over the house wanting me to play with her. Silly kitty. :)
