1. If you had to choose being blind or deaf, what would you choose and why?

This, I can see, is gonna be one of those question-sets. But I would choose to be deaf if I had to choose one of the two, provided my eyesight stayed no worse than it is now. I would not like to be deaf - I would miss music, in particular, terribly, and audio books - but I could (with some caution in areas that are now easily) live my life relatively close to what I do today. Blindness would be a major obstacle to a lot of my hobbies, past-times, and activities, as well as driving (deafness isn't good for that either, but...).

2. What is the best smell?

Just one? Argh! Here's a few: the smell of a cake or bread baking, lilac flowers, fresh lavender.

3. Would you rather be hot or cold?

Cold. I can wrap up, and my body does NOT like overheating.

4. What's the worst feeling in the world?

The way you seem to cave in on yourself when someone gives you truly, deeply bad news. Mostly because of what it means, less than how it feels. (If I have to go off how it feels, sticking your foot on a red-hot piece of metal definitely is in the running.)

5. Would you rather have something hurt or something be itchy?

Depends. If the hurt is minor, hurt. If it's not, itch. A cat-scratch is less aggravating than a persistent itch. But I'd rather have a persistent itch than a broken bone!
