Pet food recall: dry food

A dry food has been added to the recall, Hill's Pet Nutrition's Prescription Diet m/d Feline. It has the same wheat gluten as the earlier-recalled wet foods. It's not clear (judging from the news articles) whether the contaminant confirmed to be in the gluten could've caused the issue, or what. As far as I can tell from the news stories, almost all is confusion. :P

We don't know WHAT to think here! It IS so confusing! We feed Iams dry but give them turkey and tuna, the kind humans eat. I hope they straighten this out soon and we know what brands/type to trust.

just came by to say hi and try leaving you a comment. My cats get a treat of canned food every other night and it is nerve wracking. I went to the pet store to buy more and saw just how much food is still available (not recalled) and somehow that gave me some comfort to know that - but it is so worrisome. signed - spiritdoll aka kara
