Photos of the Gardens

Friday, after getting the calendars, I was in a good and very photography-focused mood, so I wandered the gardens and had a blast with the camera. 1. Remember the stairs I mentioned in the last set? They are NOT gone, or at least, stairs very like them are being added, just at the other end of the back deck of the Pavillion, the side facing the natural garden.
2. One of my photos that is in the calendar is of the dry garden from above. It is very different in focus and feel than this photo from Friday, also of the dry garden from above.

That has got to be one of the prettiest waterfalls I've ever seen. It must sound wonderful!

It does! It is absolutely lovely to be near. And I got an unusually good photo of it - the light and everything just came together. (I'm amused, because if I remember that photo correctly, I took it on a desperate whim. There were a lot of people around, and I'm pretty sure that's the photo I took partway up the hill when people were in front of me and I stretched up on tip-toes with the camera held above my head to angle over them. Hey, if it worked....)
