NOT happy with the weather.

71 degrees at 7 am. Forecasted high is 100 or 102 depending on who you listen to. (Previous record was 98.) Not really very thrilled.

Tomorrow is supposed to be just as bad. Then we start a "cooling trend", dropping to 90 on Thursday, 80-85 Friday and through the weekend. The radio station I listen to can live, since they were mocking the term "cooling trend" in this context, at least.

Good grief! I thought OR was supposed to be better than CA and yet you are going to be 30F hotter than here.

Depends on the area of CA, but generally I think we are. This time we got unlucky. But I'm glad it is not going to be bad down there - for one thing, CA is selling energy right now (and we'll need it, for AC) - I doubt they would be if the temps were as high as ours. And besides, I wouldn't wish this on other folks, either. ;)
