So, either I posit that Bran lies to Mercy in Moon Called, or "Alpha and Omega", much as I like it, is a massive continuity error. Both Leo's reasons and where Leo's second is, as Bran states them to Mercy in Moon Called, have no relationship at all to the information in Alpha and Omega.
I stink at spotting continuity errors (one reason I've given up on being an alpha reader for friends who write, along with the "lack of time" thing, but frankly the lack of ability to line things up is really the big issue). Which is the only way I didn't spot this one when I read the story the first time. Reading the book so close after highlighted it, though. Meh.
It's still a good story. Unfortunately, it hooks into the same events as the book. Which is a good book. Unfortunately, they don't agree.
