Yeah, I've been ranting about the news media lately, actually. Because it seems to me, sometimes, like they're terrorizing us almost as much as the terrorists, by this stage, how they play everything up.
But the article on the bridges was nice, short, factual, trim...and sounded like it had real meat behind it. (Unlike the anthrax-scare articles. Maybe we will all get anthrax and die, but considering the number of cases and deaths so far, and the tranmission issues, I'm not all that worried about it, even if I should be.... :)
And I have friends in that area. Heh. It's kind of funny, really. My first reaction was terror that one of them might use a bridge, and be on it when something happened.
1. They're already taking precautions.
2. There's more than one bridge, so the odds of being on an affected one if something did happen are lower.
3. ...if it was me, I'd go over the bridge, 'cause driving an extra way or giving up a day or whatever for the maybes can't be done. Too many maybes.
*laughs* So...yeah, I was being a little silly, but hey. I'm vulnerable to the news-hype when tired, I guess?
Hope Nanowrimo goes well for you also! *smiles*
