Name that song meme. Because I can.

Took my more-favorite songs, tossed them on shuffle, took the first 25 except I skipped duplicate songs and I skipped one song by a singer who already had two in the list by that time.

Feel free to try to identify (which is the purpose of the meme/game), or just read and decide I listen to weird music, as appropriate. Comments screened so more people can have fun guessing, if you wish. Feel free to guess just the title, or title and artist. I'll be listing later with the artist who sings the copy I have, which obviously for some of these may well not be the original artist.

#23 is "Wings" by Cat Faber (catsittingstill), likely performed by Echo's Children (which is catsittingstill and cflute); I'm not sure anyone else recorded a cover of that.

Well, I can definitely say I don't listen to what's in your favorites list. The only one I *THINK* I can even come close to identifying is #18, because it has a Tori Amos feel to it.

Having gone to look at my copy, the answer on 22 is that I also have the Judy Collins cover and it was written by Sandy Denny. (It's off a compilation CD and one of the other pieces was Joni Mitchell.)
