I'm just glad I normally don't work Fridays. I'd be furious if I'd taken time off work for this, as most people would have to.

The alarm folks can come out on weekdays. I have Fridays off, which makes me reluctant to tell my boss I'm taking another arbitrary day off, so this had to be rescheduled to next Friday (in hopes of getting it done before Christmas).
Next Friday is the anniversary of Dad's death. NOT the day I would have picked, in an ideal world. I am going to try to be as polite and collected as I can, since the guy coming out is not the one at fault for the mix-up. But, all factors combined, I'm not sure how I'll do at that.
