The snow, it has stuck. And is still coming down. And has started coming down at his aunt and uncle's house. They are in Camas, an hour away and above us in elevation - some medium-steep roads to get there - and dinner is at 5 pm. So it looks like he'll have to miss the dinner, unfortunately. (I am so glad that he is willing, otherwise I'd be so freaking/worried until he got there safe and again when he left!)
We just finished playing golf and bowling on the Wii. It is disturbingly fun. I have bowed out now (in favor of my online journal addiction) and he is starting the Spiderman game.
Apple is perched at the top of the cat tree, and Babe is wandering around periodically soliciting laps, pets, and play almost at random.
And outside, the snow continues falling. And inside, we have a fireplace.
Merry Christmas, indeed.
I think I'll try processing some of the photos and video. You know, so I am not uploading Christmas pictures in July, which would be more my usual processing speed. (I still have photos from several past trips, including Albuquerque, to put up. Sigh.)

Tonight, he is at a friend's house. He was going to be there tonight and part of tomorrow anyway. (This friend runs a week-long or longer gaming party the week of Christmas into New Year's, ever year.) I looked at the weather tonight and the forecast was for reasonable temps but we have a snow warning in spite of that, Thursday, 6 am to 6 pm. Not good if he was to go to D's house tomorrow morning if the weather did start in - D is probably almost 500 feet in elevation, whereas we're near sea level here. The warning is for the whole metro area but I think they are more likely to see snow there than I am here. Still, it says "3 to 6 inches expected by afternoon" - we'll see. I'm dubious. It would be really, really cool, though. (Literally and figuratively.)
I just didn't want Scott to have to drive in it.
But...it's supposed to be a low tonight of 32, then 39 for a high tomorrow. So if the snow actually materializes and accumulates, I will be sorta surprised. Pleased, I think, but surprised. We shall see!
