Today was productive, both at work and this evening. A couple loads of laundry, including some blankets that will be quite welcome for snuggling under tonight, have been done. The dishes are running. I actually even exercised. I know it doesn't sound like much but compared to the last couple days when I have gotten relatively little done, it is quite a bit. And I have a neat list of things to do tomorrow.
The cats are oh-so-cute. It has been a nice evening, alternating sleeping cats with the sounds of Apple going gonzo on toys or Babe chasing Apple around the house (and then looking confused when she catches up - "now what do I do, mommy?"). Babe is presently perched on the chair to my right, having hopped up on the one beyond it (heavier, thus less likely to move) and walked across, all on her own. She looked very smug, and well she could: there was a time when she couldn't, even with effort, jump well enough to get up there. She's getting fitter herself. A little, anyway.
I started a couple books from the library that were grabbed at random off the new-books shelf; they'll go back. I am reading Moon Flights (a collection of short stories by Elizabeth Moon). Not bad, kind of hit or miss.
And now I go to bed, because wow tired. :)
