My teddy bear from high school may be the only thing that survived the 102 moves I counted in my freshman year of high school.

I had exactly one. My mom didn't want me to get into the Cabbage Patch Kids much -- she got me a Madame Alexander doll every year for Christmas and didn't want to take away from that. I do have a rather vivid memory of being in the high-end doll store in town and pining over the Cabbage Patch section.

If I have to choose, I'll say Strawberry Shortcake. I remember having a SS pillow I made myself.

Atari. My grandparents got one for me and my cousin the year they were released -- and my grandmother had to buy another for her because she got hooked in the process of "testing" ours.

Anything involving Barbie has always been shunned in my house. Jem is close enough to be shunned as well.
