Apparently, we slept through a meteor streaking dramatically across the sky this morning.

Some guy drove his car into the MAX light-rail tunnel under the Washington Park Zoo. Headed west. While trying to get to Vancouver, they think. Gotta tell you sir: even my sense of direction doesn't suggest that Vancouver is west of Portland, or that it's underground.

That wasn't a meteor.. it was the aliens!

I used to work for Northwest Natural which is at the base of the Steel Bridge, next to the Max tracks. Some guy once tried to drive his car up them once. One of his tires went up a concrete barrier and tipped the car on its side. Fun for all.
