Went in to the dentist today to get a temporary crown replaced with a permanent, and also to get a chip I'd developed in a front tooth last week repaired. The chip turned out to be a filling that had popped out instead, and no decay behind it, which was really sweet 'cause it made it easy to fix.
And the crown, normally an easy procedure, fought like the dickens and hurt. He ended up numbing the area after it came off, and I was so very glad of that. But the permanent crown is on, looks nice, appears well-fitted, and it's over.
I can only say "ow" in the past tense as it is not painful now. But I am feeling rather put-upon and blah, I think unsurprisingly.
Tinkerbell userpic in honor of the temporary crown, which was about as hard to get free, I think.
