Not sure if I like the Canby farmer's market or not. Parking was miserable, but there was a car show going on at the same time, which confounds things horribly. It's tiny - less than 20 stalls - but the selection in those stalls was pretty darned good. For less than $25, I came home with three pints of blueberries (last of the season, small and sweet), a pint of cherry tomatoes, a pound and a half of green beans, three large red potatoes, two large green peppers, two medium zucchini, a small head of cauliflower (they had larger; that's al the cauliflower I wanted), three lemon cucumbers, and an eggplant. (Some were impulse buys, some are for one or another recipe.)

There were lots of other options that I left behind, too.

But...if I have to park that far away every time? It may not be worth it. I may try the Oregon City farmer's market also - it's also today (not tomorrow as I'd remembered). If it's grown since early spring (which seems probable), it's likely a better choice. And I still need a couple things and wouldn't mind some more impulse shopping. That's...several miles the wrong direction for my other main errand (going to my parents' house to check on things) today, though. Sigh. I may do it anyway. The information will be useful in the future. It's about as far away as Canby, in a slightly different direction.

Also? Note to my GPS device: the Canby Ferry is NOT as good a route as the interstate, since (unlike, say, a bridge) it is not always instantly available when you want it. No, I am NOT going to take the Ferry instead of going one mile on the interstate. Next!

*sigh* Yeah, I think I go to Oregon City. Which means I need to empty the bags so I have them available again, though I'll likely only need 1-2. Good. I can leave the beans in their bag!
