An IM I sent to dormouse_in_tea (shortly before setting the cat back down - she likes lap-time but only for short periods, for some odd reason...).

Me: Babe is very sweet.
Me: Babe is convinced my lap is pre-pregnancy size.
Me: Babe is an optimist.
Me: Babe is an optimist with her butt and one hind foot in the air. *amused*

After I had my son, I was feeding him and my cat jumped up and sat on the baby.
He gave me a a very loving look.
