Oh the weather outside is...gorgeous....

Got up this morning and it was already snowing, light and steady, and had been long enough to renew the layer of snow on everything. It's beautiful. Mind you, it's also supposed to accumulate like mad today, and then tomorrow morning we may get freezing rain before it moves into just rain the afternoon. But it's gorgeous, and I carefully planned on not having to go anywhere, so that's okay. Lots for us to get done around the house and we can be cozy and snug at home.

For anyone in any of the current winter storms who has to go out - much sympathy and please be careful. Crazy December.

I like snow when it's moderate... it's pretty. We've just got way too much now and there is more on the way.
