Cordelia adored the ceiling fan at that age. We still joke about it being one of her first friends. She could stare at it for quite a while and still be fascinated.
On your "almost new" baby boy. My he WAS a big one. I read your comment on timegoesby and thought I would drop bye and say hi.
PS: From a grandmother of 6, ranging in age from 8 to 21, when the baby get tired of the ceiling fan and you need to comfort him some more: Turn on the washing machine and holding the baby securely, perhaps wrapped in a blankie, lay him out on top of the washer and sing to him.
I guess the water sound reminds them of the womb and the gentle motion too.
