RECALL: Children's Tylenol / Motrin / Benadryl / Zyrtec

Children's and Infants' liquid formulations have been recalled. Details at:

This appears to affect most or all of the liquid formulations of all four products - if it's still in stores at this point, the store hasn't pulled it, but that doesn't mean it's good if it's the brand name. The advice is to toss them, apply for the refund or coupon (as you prefer), and pick up generics for the time being.

Any idea how far back this goes? We have children's motrin and tylenol at home, but they were bought several months ago -- we don't use them often.

All lots that have not yet expired. Issues at a production plant apparently. The first link above will let you check by type/flavor - but if it's recalled, it's all of it.

Okay, thanks. I'll check. I looked and most of what we have was generic in the first place; that's all right, you said?

Yes, it's just the brand ones recalled - the recommended replacement is the generic. So you should be good with those.
