One note for those who are considering integrating their LiveJournal with their Facebook via the new feature - I have heard reports (via
dormouse_in_tea here and via
cleolinda here when I did an additional search) that this will put your real name on your profile, visible to the whole internet. I'm unclear of the mechanism or where it puts it, and whether it can remove it. And I'm not about to test it....
ETA: my impression from other comments is that, like linked IM accounts, it shows your FB id - normally your real name. And apparently it can't be removed/hidden at this time.
(If you want to integrate to Facebook without that issue, you could integrate to Twitter, then push to FB using one of the FB apps that can pull from Twitter, tho.)

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

Unfortunately, turning it on for entries also makes it possible for comments - whether it's on by default or not, they can hit the little ticky boxes (even by mistake).
