We have keys.

We have keys to the house. I got there about 3 pm today, our realtor met me and gave me them. While I was there, I met our new neighbors a couple doors down (very friendly, holding a garage sale), our next-door neighbor and her daughter (nice people, friends of my realtor as her son is in the same class as the daughter at school), and another neighbor from the end of the cul de sac who was getting her mail. They were all very friendly and welcoming, and assured me we would love the neighborhood.

I love the fact that it IS a neighborhood. I also, of course, promptly forgot all their names. Argh. I stink at names.

We've been idly looking for a while - our current back yard is gorgeous but not very good for an active toddler - and this place met all our needs and a lot (most!) of our wants, and the back yard is so perfect.

I know what you mean about neighbor names - when we moved here I finally made a point of writing them down at the earliest opportunity so I could refer back.

Yeah, by the time I was away from them I'd zoned all but the woman and girl's name. I am so sad with names. :(

I love how light this house is. It just looks like a happy peaceful cheery place to live. I love the kitchen and the light eat-in area. Perfect for your growing family. The yard will be wonderful, too.

We love it - it's wonderful. And the shed in the corner of the yard is set up as a playhouse, with electricity to power a light bulb, and a little play kitchen built in. Drew was thrilled.
