The kittens apparently like the cat toys I got them. Even the crazy electric mouse the rolls around for a bit going "nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah you can't catch me" (kid you not, recorded voice) when it's hit/touched/moved, then goes still till it happens again.

I honestly thought that would amuse my parents, scare the cats, and get put away never to be reused. Nope, apparently the cats quite like it.

My parents, wisely, turn it off before they go to bed.

Heh. We had one of those electronic mice that squeaks when it moves, but there was no way to turn it off. I was wondering what happened to it the other day and Tracy told me we still had it, but in a way that implied she had gotten sick of hearing a squeaking mouse at 3a.m. and hid it somewhere the cats couldn't find it.
