Database problem (where we couldn't connect) at client site solved. Cause: severe programmer stupidity. R. noticed and questioned properly, the fact that I put the server name in the bloody database name field. Might work better if I put it in the server name field and the database name in the database name field.

But hey, it's solved. This is VERY good. System up and running.

And I just got a phone call from a company that I never heard of. Someone paged 'em with my number, except "the area code is in question on this page". Huh? Do you mean they didn't put it, or what?

Told them, anyway, it was very unlikely someone would, without my knowledge, page my direct-dial number to a company I'd never heard of, so it probably wasn't (insert my area code here). (After we confirmed he'd dialed the number he thought he had, mind. I'd hate to tell him that and it was just an incorrect dialing.)

Today oughta be interesting. Good interesting, maybe.
