I love Scott. *grins* Nice, low-key evening. We went to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner. No cooking, fresh salad buffet, lots of other treats...yummy. Though they had a pretty awful (to my eyes) selection of soups this time, I was stuffed without wanting any anyway, so that works.

Then we went to Ancient Wonders, our Friendly Local Gaming Store. They'd gotten in a copy of Vampire 3rd Edition (they sold out over the weekend, before I went in to get it, darn it). Scott got the Nosferatu novel (he already owned it but had lost it, and wanted to loan the set to someone). Are we a couple, or what?

We'd debated going to the movies, but my leg was achy and we couldn't think of anything we wanted to see, so we came home. And played Trivial pursuit.

Which was...humorous, at least. )

Not overly productive, but not unproductive. I decided not to keep my copy of an rpg, but to send it to a friend (easy decision: I read, not interested, Scott didn't even want to read). Didn't send it. Post office was so busy, their parking lot was full AND there were three cars in the driveway in. A fourth car would've stuck into the street, but that's okay, there were three cars in the left-turn lane there waiting to turn into the post office!

I kept going. Imagine that.

I brought back a full armload (almost chin height, in other words) of history books from the library. And I have been working on a background sketch for a character that may or may not ever see play, but which is amusing me a great deal in the creation.

I wrote the last of the viewing code for hangouts. One of the staff-only commands (like the crucial one, to put things on the list!) still needs a bit of debugging and tweaking. Sometime tomorrow I should be able to freeze +hangouts, remove it, roll in my version, and start it up again.

YAY! I'm really happy with this.

I talked to good friends (always a plus), did the grocery shopping (yay food!), forgot my pager while grocery shopping (it hasn't gone off this week - and it didn't, thank goodness!), and read portions of the library books.

Other than that I just loafed around. I couldn't do the dishes: Scott did them for me last night before I got home. *grins*
