Weary.

Got into work. Lovely, rainy weather out. Very pleasant. But I'm tired - got to sleep at a reasonable hour last night, but I guess I didn't sleep well enough.

I have a headache behind my left forehead, eyebrow and on up. I was chewing gum earlier, and it made the headache worse.

I'm on top of the stuff I need to do today, at least so far. But I'm not really alert.

And Y. brought his dog in. I love the rain, but that's a hyper, run-in-circles-and-bark, WET dog. A 45 minute walk in the rain does not make for a dog you want in the office, especially not if he's hyper....

Whee!

Well. My headache is mostly gone - it lurks as a faint tension in my forehead, but the tylenol appears to have defeated it for now. The decongestant is busy keeping my allergies from spawning a sinus headache.

I have Spanish class tonight, 7:30-9:30. If I want a nap now, I hope I live through that. ;)

On the other hand, part of the fact that I'm picking up is probably due to the fact that I turned the temperature down in my office. Eventually, the guys in the next office over (who get the same temperature settings I do) may complain, but generally they seem amenable to "chilly" and it's helping me to function. Stupid errors: I have to redo the CD. There's one CD burner in the office, and it's on the computer one of our people uses to code. I can't do this for half an hour, because he is working on stuff. Ack.

We really need to get him a new computer and put that CD burner somewhere where that's its main job....

So in the meanwhile, I'm cutting releases of the various different builds and projects. It's something to do.

Bits and miscellany

Oh, yeah. It's properly fall, I had to use the car heater on the way home.

And by the way? Grocery shopping is tough, when you're talking to yourself in Spanish, and the labels are in English.

Someone had left a cart wtih some perishables - abandoned it in the aisle - and it took me half of my walk to the checkout stands from there to figure out how to explain this in English. Not that I had the vocabulary to explain it in Spanish, of course.

My poor mind is all twisted! Oh, wait, that's not all that new....
