Dad is nice. Dad is going to tape Enterprise for me again this week. Somehow I got it stuck in my head it was tomorrow instead of today; and there is no way we will have the TV and the VCR by then, plus all set up.

And I can't watch it, because it's in the middle of my Spanish class! Guess I'll be taping it for a while myself. *grins*

It's fall. And I didn't bring any food today; I decided sleep was more important, and I'd buy my lunch and snacks.

The deli has apple cider. I've known this for a while; today was the first time I've really wanted it. It's nummy, spiced what I consider "just right", which is to say, I can taste it, but it's not overwhelming.

The rest of today is going well so far. I had a good meeting with a coworker about the needs of our mobile system, and it turns out it will be frightfully easy to knock of 90% of the high-priority items with one solution. And, for that matter, 90% of the lower priority items!

I feel icky, but it's just tired-icky so far. I'm hoping that's all it is....

...because a coworker who is up visiting our office for part of this week came in today even though he spent last night puking, as he put it. He's trying not to breathe on people, but we had to discuss stuff for like a half hour.

Aaaaa.

Got my neat new command in. One new command, about four hours of actual work including testing and repair. It addresses, oh, half the outstanding issues on one item...all at once. :)

Yay!

And you know what? I not only was just tired, I've found my balance and I'm doing pretty darned good again.

I'm gonna be worthless tomorrow, though.

I have class from 7:30 to 9:30 tonight; then I come home and start a database repair on a client site. I believe that will take 1-2 hours at most, I sure hope I'm right. If I am, I'll survive tomorrow.

If not, I'll work from home or come in late. 'Cause I won't be able to make it otherwise.

I'm going to take a half-hour to hour nap when I get home. That will help a lot. But still. Whew!

Now, off to make more stuff work.
