Okay. Got up this morning, felt lousy. (Had to get up, middle of night last night, decongestant, all that fun stuff. This time, still ached. Put in a PILE of pillows - I love my throw pillows - so I was almost sitting up. Improved the congestion considerably, however, sleeping sitting up is awfully restless when you never do so normally....)

After breakfast, more decongestant and some tylenol, I'm feeilng almost human. I'm going in to work, and my goal is to make it till around 3 at the earliest.

We'll see if I even come close.

I have to stop and buy more tylenol (gah - just had one of the little 'sample' bottlse, 'cause I don't use it much). And my internet was out again this morning when I got up, but was restored after I called it in (ISP blamed phone company's DSL service, I don't care whose fault it was, it's back on).

So - yes, I'm still alive. Occasionally it's a sort of wishy-washy impression of alive, but alive all the same.

IBM left a message. The laptop order has my correct name on it now.

It still has the wrong city. They are not allowed to override the city for a given zipcode.

Oh, well. Like I said, the shipper's probably pretty used to this.

But guys?

I'm not even in the same county as that city....

Happy, happy.

All of our bug reports that were "completed, pending client testing to close" are now closed.

This means we have two open bug reports. One, I sent email to the client Monday or Tuesday instructing them on how to get me the logs I need to trouble-shoot it with. The other, I just marked "completed, pending client testing to close".

*beams* Yay, me. Yay, my team. We do good work.

I do not believe (I could be wrong, but this is my belief) that there is another team in this company that has an open-bug-to-site ratio of 1:1 or less.

We're working on that "less" part, close 'em faster'n you open 'em....

I gave the C test to another candidate.... I got the writeup on the conversion fields done (again! please, if you have questions - figure that out before it's a week after you were supposed to get me the test run? thankyou!).

I closed a bug report; I helped someone else close a bug report. (Mind, I didn't help them fix it. They were having trouble with the bug-tracking system. *grins*)

I did a bit of coding work.

Not that much. Not as much as I'd've liked. But I survived a whole day at work, and my head has only just started really pounding the past hour or two (and I've tossed tylenol and decongestant at it, again, and that seems to be helping). So...that's worth something!

The upper left corner of my face feels like it's going to fall off.

Um. Good things:

The CD I ordered got here.

They fixed my name on the laptop order.

I survived the workday.

I hung out with friends.

I found the password (with help, thank you my friend!) to the builder I will probably need to hand off to someone else.

I get to go have a hot bath and sleep now...oh that sounds wonderful....
