Quote from Solace For A Sinner, by Caroline Roe:

"And when I finish with you,Master Vicens, I'll use the same knife to cut the throats of your elegant wife and pretty daughter as well. And then perhaps you'll know what it is to suffer, too."

"No," said a reasoned voice behind him. "I don't think I will. According to you, I'll be dead, won't I?"

Not, actually, a book I really enjoyed. But I do like that quote.

Blech. So I wandered upstairs and took a couple-hour nap tonight. Not sure what it was - I got up sluggish this morning, felt tired, I still have the cold even if it's not horrible. And I had my eyes dilated, which is stressful and achy and....

Probably a combination of things. I'm up now, but I'm awfully bleary. Pretty storm outside, though. Rain and wind. Maybe I'll go for a walk (well-wrapped!) after I've eaten.

Ummm.

1. Got in a scenelet with the cat?

2. There was nothing wrong with my eyes. Yay. Except, of course, for the fact they were dilated. Ugh!

3. Storm. Wind, rain. Very pretty.

...wow. That's really stretching, isn't it? I need to make better use of my days. :)
