Whee.

We had a power outage last night, Scott told me as he got up (and I slept in - gah - broken dreams - not bad, just fragmented and weird - and getting to bed late because I had forgotten to do the bills).

Boy, did we. The computers were all off, despite the UPS's, so it wasn't just a flicker; it was a good while. (Not the most impressive UPSs: they're designed to be useful if you're at the machine. But still - maybe 10-15 minutes or so, at a minimum.)

Now to head to work.

Work-busy day. Got the hair ribbons. (Had to get fabric ribbons - thanks to zoi_no_miko for the advice on those. You were right - though I protest my local "fabric" store mixes "craft" ribbons with the regular kind, no wonder I was confused!)

Got some answers in in LiveJournal support this evening. Oh, and I had a dentist appointment this morning. Nice surprise: the filling hadn't come out, it had just chipped deeply enough to FEEL like a hole. It never reached the tooth, so she was able to etch it and fill it without any drilling. Which meant no need for anesthetic, and everything went more quickly, too. Always nice!

And I'm up too late again tonight. Gee, imagine that. *grins* Night, everyone!
