*laughs* Maybe I should be in tech support.

It would drive me bats, of course. But although I have had a heck of a day? I just got a compliment on my phone voice from a coworker; he said he likes calling me because I always sound so cheerful.

I guess my very deliberate attempt to cultivate that answer (because it very well might be a client!) on the phone has helped.

Maybe I should try that in other areas; why not? If I can sound cheerful, that's a start.

House update.

As a random note, whoever organizes this sort of thing is sadistic. The loan paperwork arrived at the escrow company this afternoon. They're going to prepare it tomorrow morning and then tell me how much the cashier's check has to be for, and when we're signing.

It'll be tomorrow afternoon, it's supposed to be, but jeez. You people don't like real planning, do you?
