I didn't get much done last night. I hung out with people, and that seemed important enough.

Besides, I was at work until 6:30, got home at 7:00-ish. That's not exactly conducive to having a real evening anyway. Went to bed a bit early because I was feeling tired and mildly off.

This morning I felt tired and more-than-mildly off. Headache/allergy whining ensues. )

So, not shaping up to be a stellar day so far. On the other hand - D. came in the door with a request that he made sound like it was gonna be a massive issue. He wanted a demo install. I directed him to the demo install directory, and showed him where the map is. That was easy!

Three more items on my to-do from that, all low priority. Someone asked about a feature on the NT-based systems. They meant RMS but it's in the Unix-based RMS and CAD so I promptly asked for a few more details on how it works (from a user perspective) over there. Sooner or later it will be wanted on our system, it's quite sensible, and I'd rather have anticipated it and had a design for how to fit it in than not!

I have a document to go over reference performance testing, too. And I need to finish last night's task that never quite got finished due to the client having issues, but I haven't heard from the project manager yet. And I need to go over the bug listing and see if I can find time to work on one.

Fortunately, while this is a lot of stuff, all of it except working on that bug is largely a no-brainer at this point.

I like no-brainer stuff. I like it a lot. Plus, I just took my allergy pill. With luck, that will help keep the headachy stuff down for the day.

Update, 10:20. Damn, so much for no-brainer stuff. Now I have a massive statement-of-work document to review and amend, that must be sent out - corrected - by tomorrow am. What a joy...still, I can do this. It's not that hard, and my antihistamine has kicked in I think. Still vaguely stuffy, no more headache!
