Okay, now I feel like a slacker.

I have my summer allergies, and a fair degree of "ack! I can't keep up with all of this!" feeling regarding work.

But one of the people on my team has been coming back to work (he leaves about 4 pm) at about 6 pm and staying till 11 or midnight. Apparently routinely. And working 8-10 hours a day on the weekend.

Gah. We need it, but I hate seeing anyone do that. And I don't know how he does. After a while my brain turns to goo and I just don't get anywhere on things.

I dreamed last night. I don't remember details but I remember that I was moving among lines of code and reams of paper at various times, I remember information coming at me too fast.

That can't be a good sign.

I got home from work, with groceries, at 8:30.

Of course, that meant I still had two documents to prepare. And due to some issues with a shared directory being unreachable, I didn't finish everything I meant to at work today.

I took a half-hour lunch, started at 8 am, left at 7:30, brought two items home, and didn't finish everything.

I'd say I feel like a whiny brat, but I think it's sort of understandable when I start to put the numbers on it.

Now, back to the documents which I have been putting off....

(But my re-pinned debit card nicely got me groceries, so I am well-fed. Of course the new round of bills arrived but I will deal with those tomorrow or Friday.)
