We're at the site again, looking through code and setting things up. It's going really well, so far, and hopefully will continue to do so. The restaurant's continental buffet would have been better had they had muffins without nuts, but such is life.

So far I haven't seen much here, since we've been in at the site most of the time. But I've seen a little. Not much scenic, but there have been some pretty mountains-in-the-distance views.

I'm tired. Not the time change; just, we stayed late at the site last night and by the time we had dinner and all, it was 10:15 or so we got to the hotel room, maybe later.

I'm going to want a week off at the end of this week again, aren't I?

They removed a bunch of tables from our work area while we were at lunch. Some of our laptops were on them. They tried to pack up the power supply to my boss's laptop. All my stuff was still there but it had been moved and was in suspend mode, not what I'd hoped to find when I got back. Fortunately, I hadn't left any networked application running because they did unplug the cable.

And I'm teaching the system admin class in 45 minutes, because R. needs to be doing something else. I guess that gives me a whole 45 minutes of prep time, so I shall try to waste no more of it worrying about this. Argh. And eep.

And today I did. And the class went fine, according to my coworkers (several of whom were also there to learn). I still talk a little too fast (even I caught that, and hauled it back a few times), but I wasn't too nervous compared to usual.

And I keep telling them not to over-schedule the class. It takes an hour, hour and a half. I do not need three hours (it was four last time; I'm slowly convincing them). On the plus side, allocating that many hours of my time for the class means the project gets more of it for other things....

I'm having a pretty good time, really. I've been trying to catch negative thoughts and such and I think that's really making things a lot better, that I'm not letting myself fret. We're in good shape. And it feels nice to say that.

Now I'm off to get the live geo data into the live system so they can finish the testing.

Did I mention I haven't set my workstation off Pacific time? Actually 8:30 here. I'm hungry! But I think we just found our last big problem and we're okay.

Sure hope so. Not really more tired than I was earlier so I think it's general dragging, not real tiredness. Need food and sleep soon (an hour or two), though, or it will be very real.
