It's going to be an interesting day. I stayed up until 11 last night - I usually prefer to go to bed between 10 and 10:30. I was busy setting up a CD for in the car and also reading some articles on programming that I wanted to finish, and chatting with people online. My own fault, entirely, and I wouldn't grudge it....

...except that at 5:20 Scott turned the alarm off. I woke to the motion for some reason, in horror since now I couldn't go back to sleep. After a few mazed seconds, I realized I could reset the alarm (since it hadn't gone off yet, and wouldn't until 6), but by the time I got there I was fairly awake. So I turned it on again, but the sun was up and birds were chirping and there was a breeze that was very noticeable.

Applying a corner of the comforter let me have a fitful doze, but that was it. This is the sort of day on which I would normally think I might come home from work early, but there are meetings this week. The main guy we need for the meetings arrives about noon today...and leaves tomorrow.

I think I may stop and get a bottle of something with caffeine to have with me at work today. Oh, man, am I tired. I would imagine that afternoon will be interesting and evening will be short....
