Sorry for the unimaginative title, but that's pretty much the only topic here. Work is going well - things are weird there, and one of my coworkers hurt himself and is out at least until Monday (when they will look and tell him how bad and how long that leg is out). He hit his knee on the desk; they think he might have torn or compressed ligaments, but there was enough fluid they couldn't tell. I'm really hoping that things are not as bad as they seem, as I don't know anyone who deserves that sort of thing, and it's not fun to watch friends/acquaintances/coworkers in pain or dealing with that sort of thing.

I'm a bit more mindful of where I am versus where my desk is today, too....

Read more of my library book and, on the list of silly things to do while juggling too many library books in too little time, reread Winds of Fate.... Got in some yardwork, need at least another hour to get it back under control. Not as bad as I'd feared. I think I'm finally starting to win this one. :P

Work is work; on the good side, I am getting to work on an enhancement and all the pieces are coming together. I'm standardizing some of the existing code that I am building on as I go. (Not as a frivolous gesture: that it remained out-of-standard is bad, but even more to the point, I need some of that in-standard to support this enhancement.) It isn't taking very long, which is making me happy.

Scott has flown to the midwest for his high school reunion. He had a 7 am flight today, which means the alarm went off before 4. I went back to sleep after a brief farewell (and I didn't, I confess, even sit up for that - that was much too early to ask for energy!). He has arrived safely and will be back very late Tuesday.

My photo in the current challenge on dp challenge is not doing spectacularly, but it is doing well for my efforts, and garnering some positive comments - weighted with advice on improving it, some of which I even saw before I put it up (but alas, couldn't improve without another couple days and a return trip). Others I didn't. I actually feel good about this one, even if I didn't get to keep my opening score. *grin*

And on that note, I think I'd better get some sleep. I'm babbling, and I'd like to be semi-human tomorrow. :)
