Interesting.... Friendster, Orkut, etc.

Someone's finally articulated what is at least a large part of my discomfort with these services. And, as is the way of such things, has been quoted. They're artificial, forced, and a waste of time - at least, my time. But I couldn't have said why more articulately than that.

Sometimes, people explain yourself to you pretty well.

Good weekend. Much roleplay was had, the laundry got done, the dishes got done, the bills got paid, dad dropped by (hi, dad, and thanks for the claratin!), and I think I even read but darned if I can remember what, besides lots of LJ posts.

Oh, and, much to my pleasure, I've found the keycard I lost - to the fitness room at work.
