Today was not easy. The HOA board meeting last night ran 'til nearly ten, not quite. I stayed up a bit later getting things done that I should have let go so I could sleep, then dodged to bed. I woke briefly at 5 with a nose so stuffed it hurt, and managed to fall back asleep. Woke at 6:45 (45 mintues into the alarm, first time I heard it!) very tired - way moreso than that should cause. Scott said I was coughing in the middle of the night, too. Wonderful.
As far as the board meeting, they want our house a new color but details of how to handle it are still pending. I got an ad today that was very ironic in terms of this, so I posted a picture of it over on Buzznet.
Also, today at work, got a somewhat-reproachful call from K in our finance department. My bank recently talked me into switching my savings account to a new account with a much better rate (twice as good). I forgot to notify them...and I forgot that's where the balance of my auto-deposit goes. Poor K! She was very helpful and accomodating. For now, she is sending me the part of my last paycheck that should have gone in there and I will have to deposit it myself. I will have the correct routing and account information to her tomorrow and have already sent my apology. I totally did not think of the auto-deposit when having that done!
My head hurts and I am tired. Considering how much sleep I got, I think I'm going to go to bed. With luck, tomorrow will go better. I need to put in some extra. I meant to get things done tonight, both for work (where I got less time in than I'd like, between running late and being tired and blah) and at home - I hadn't even enough brain to really converse sanely.
It rained today, though! This evening, really. Light rain, thunderous downpour, back and forth, sweet and wonderful. Everything had the scent of hot wet earth and pavement for a while, earlier. Likely still does. The bedroom was on the uncomfy side so I sealed it up and turned on the AC, but I'll likely turn it off and see if the weather is suitable to an open window. I should not. My allergies won't like it. But oh the sound of rain--
