Reciprocal Transaltion, borrowed from [livejournal.com profile] mandydax and [livejournal.com profile] jaka_talbot. Rules are simple. 1) Pick a song. It's more fun if you pick a song that you really love, a song whose lyrics you, or people you know, take too seriously. 2) Google the lyrics for it. 3) Go to http://babelfish.altavista.com and translate the lyrics to the song into a language you don't speak. 4) Cut and paste the results of said translation BACK into the Translate window, and translate it back into English. 5) Post the results of that in your LJ, and enjoy the hilarity!

Actually, what's scary is that the bulk of it came out even somewhat similar to the original....

Strange, because Scott left this morning and won't be back for over a week - he is visiting his family for Thanksgiving. But not too strange except when I thought about it, since he's often out on Saturday for a game for much of the day. Hopefully he will have a wonderful visit.

While he spent the day flying, I got to spend it lazing at home, and I happily did so. The laundry is mostly done (a couple more loads need to be done). I got some scenes. I talked to people and got some helpful advice. I finished up a rough draft of a background, enough so I believe I can complete the character. I reread some books and bits of books. I spent a lot of time hanging out online chattering, and reading LJ.

In the end, presented that way, it's a boring day. I suppose in a way it was; but it was a very contented boring day. Just the very kind I like. I'm recharging somewhat, you know?

But not enough to skip the 'sleep' thing, so I shall go get some of it now. It's been a day. And hey, I have a four-day holiday weekend to look forward to next weekend. Yes, I'm on call for it, but such is life....
