Wheeee!

Work was busy today. Not bad, but I was having one of those days where really, if you could, you should simply stop communicating until it passes. I kept using the wrong word (such as 'lab' for 'conference room' - though really, I was saying something about where people were and I think I just got ahead of myself), misreading things, etc. It was pathetic. It got better after the third time because I started being really careful, but it was still not ideal.

They had birthday cake for my birthday, and my boss's (mine was Sunday, his was Monday). It was a kind I can't have without a pill, and then I can't have all the frosting. I remembered this and the cake (plus the bit of frosting I had for enjoyment) was very good. (Most cakes I cannot have without a pill because the frosting is dairy-based and also higher in fat than my regular diet. But I do like them and, if I avoid most of the frosting and such, I do just fine for a single piece.)

Someone brought in reject Jelly Bellys that had odd color scars or just were the wrong shape or stuck together. I about died laughing when I saw the label the bag is sold under: "Belly Flops." Someone had a lovely good sense of humor about that.

Tonight was not very productive online. I was going to roleplay initially but when I went to do that I found my enthusiasm waning quickly for various reasons and I soon went to play World of Warcraft, which is frighteningly addictive. Fun, but still frighteningly addictive.

So, tomorrow for roleplaying and that should be good. Scott's game may be here downstairs (it's not clear yet where or if it will be held). For now, to bed, because I have both work and a dentist appointment tomorrow. Whee! :P
