A weekend. It was a good weekend, mostly.

I spent most of it reading. Today I did not feel well and spent part of the day napping. (The part I was to have spent with Scott's family, celebrating his cousins' graduations - blast it! He went and had a good time, though.) Played World of Warcraft with Scott tonight. Packed when I wasn't napping. All the fun stuff.

I may or may not be able to get online while I'm on this trip. If I can, I'll probably post. If not, look for me Friday. (I get home Thursday night. In no way will I be writing then - the plane lands not long before midnight. Technically, Friday morning is when we would have flown back, you see, but it's not that far....)

I am somewhat grouchy at the hotel intvolved. They keep changing the tale of how the shuttles work and at this point I do not care what the answer is, it could be free and answer to telepathy and appear when you need it and I would be irritated because it would still be a different version of the story. ("Oh, we have a free shuttle - fly into this airport." / "Oh, we don't have a shuttle at all. I can tell you the name of a good company though." / "Yes, we have a shuttle. Call back the day before your flight to arrange pickup." / "Sure thing, we can pick you up - when is your plane landing, okay, you have checked luggage? Great, we'll pick you up a half hour after it lands, go here - I'll have X call you to confirm." / X: "Oh, we can't schedule shuttle pickup. It's on an as-available basis. Just give us a call from the airport.")

Um. Guys? Guys??

Learn your own bloody business and how it runs, so when the rest of us ask questions, you don't sound like morons!

Oh, well. I have money for a taxi if I have to take one (which would be a reimbursed expense) and we'll see what happens. But still.

The weekend was good. The weekend was good. I wonder what else the hotel will get confused about, but the weekend was good.
