Setting the alarm is a better idea after you make sure it's set for the right time. It was still set for 3 am (when we needed to get up to leave last Wednesday) and I didn't notice. Worse, I can't see well enough to bother with the clock when I first get up (it's not right in my line of sight, and if it was I'd have to squint to read it without contacts or glasses), so I got up, got dressed for work, came into the computer room....and stared at the time on my computer. Then I went back to bed and reset the alarm.
At least my carelessness only really nails me. Scott has today off work as well and doesn't have to go in, but it's just about time for me to head out.
