Got a lot of Christmas stuff done last night. The cards won't go out until Friday at least - we are waiting to confirm some addresses and I just don't see getting much forward motion before Thursday night anyway, with our schedules - but slowly making progress. Scott has been very kind and helpful when I just kind of pointed at a bunch of things that needed wrapped and asked him to please wrap them. ;)

He is now reading Magic Study. He liked Poison Study better, I think, but he's enjoying this one enough that it's hard to get his attention when he's reading it. ;) Hee.

In trying to find an Anguished English calendar for next year, I found that there are several books of AE also. Four of which my library has. Sigh. Like I'm not already buried in books! I think I've tentatively decided against the calendar. It's been lots of fun but, I actually have a page-a-day calendar for next year and I really don't need two. I can get one for 2009 if I'm tempted then.

Babe is currently hugging my purse in a way that suggests I don't get to pick it up. A pity for her, since I need to leave as soon as I post this. Possibly a pity for me if she defends her right to snuggle with it, but probably okay. I would take a picture of the Cute, but my camera is in the purse, so that's not happening.

I have been reasonably careful about keeping the lid of the washer shut so that Apple will not hop up and fall in.

I have now - with assist from the cat and much angst - fished Apple out from between the washer/dryer and the wall, a spot she can go down into but has no way out of without help.

The door will now stay shut.

Poor Apple. And poor me. That was stressful, and then when I was brushing her off (she was allover dust, way more than I wanted her to ingest while cleaning herself), she kept biting me. Fortunately, her definition of 'aggressive' biting still doesn't break skin, but it was no fun.

Good thing she could reach high enough on the pipes to be in my reach. Otherwise I'd have had to move one of the two and I'd be even less thrilled than I am.

I'm not sure this deserves the 'funny' tag. But I'm not sure it doesn't either, so we'll go with it.
