The first line of the first (public) post of each month this year. [Where the post was a meme, I have used the first sentence that was written by me.]

January: Among the things retrieved Saturday were copies of Dad's photos.
February: I can go back to my grandparents. (Meme - family tree question.)
March: So glad I do not drive I-84 in the mornings.
April: I never read the Daily Puppy, nor had even heard of it before, however, [livejournal.com profile] retsuko commented that they had changed around their home page, so I clicked thru.
May: For the record, while there are far worse fates, I really don't like vile colds.
June: According to the traffic report the traffic on I5 Salesground(?) from 2:17 all the way to 205 is very slow. (Voice post, auto-transcribed. I believe that should be I5 southbound from 217 to 205.)
July: I've hardly updated, I know. I've been home since Wednesday but I spent Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, and Friday catching up around the house and at work.
August: I had fun.
September: Here safe
October: Not having a great deal of luck integrating Apple and Babe.
November: Scott fixed the tub in the master bath so that I can take baths (instead of just showers) in there again.
December: 5-10 minutes. (Another meme.)

I got Scott a Wii for Christmas. Which is to say I got us a Wii for Christmas, because we both knew I'd start playing. And honestly? I'm having a fair amount of fun. Not sure how long that will last but some games use the interface pretty well and it's neat. One of the games we got is Spider-Man: Friend or Foe. It's playable, but it's nothing special as far as playability or experience. It is, however, quite fun to just idle in the main area between missions. The computer on the station, which does the station-wide announcements, is a bit...quirky. My favorite announcements:

Doc Ock, please inform your mechanical arms to behave themselves. I'm already spoken for.

Scorpion, please be careful with your tail. That's three screens in the last half hour.

Black Cat, please stop playing with the thermostat. If you are cold, put on a sweater.

Why? Because I can. All lines taken from public posts.

January: And quite a few things I don't recognize on first glance, as expected.
February: And now I go to work.
March: As far as I can tell from the news stories, almost all is confusion.
April: Not to mention our insurance?
May: For anyone who saw that, I did NOT have a bag full of Bush. Sheesh. (Yes, two sentences. The last one alone wasn't nearly as amusing.)
June: We've had horrible luck with the couple pre-boxed mixes we've tried.
July: Except that one got canceled and I got a refund, and they still sent me the ticket.
August: I suspect it's very playable as-is, but it doesn't fit its setting as well as I'd hoped.
September: I know where the trash can is.
October: A bit of Halloween humor (worksafe, does have a photo), courtesy of Ronni Bennett at Time Goes By.
November: I don't think I need one longer than my forearm these days.
December: I am typing this sentence into the meme, which will be posted before the end of 2007, because I am going to bed before midnight - as in now - good night!
