Ah, extremes. Friday I was very, very busy, and fairly productive - I just kept moving from task to task. Got everything done that I needed to, as far as I can think, even now. Had a very handy white-light idea, and wrote it up in time to be useful on a proposal.
Yesterday, I was a sloth. I spent most of the day roleplaying, lounging around the house, etc. I gave my parents more toys for the kittens (I'm sure they appreciate this tons...), and got some magazines and calendars I wanted in return. I had a great time roleplaying, though.
Today...is a mix. I hope. That's the intent. This morning I felt blah, so I played Monopoly, the Portland version, with Scott. It's fun, but we've decided not to use the 'auction' rule in games with only two players. It's too easy to imbalance things early.
Then I went to my contact lens appointment. They're as good as I thought, she was quite pleased, so we ordered the real set. Jeez these things are not cheap, but when they come in, I'll have a year + 3 months (for the trials :) supply. I guess I'm a convert, at least for now.
Then I gassed my car up and did the grocery shopping. Lots of nummy food. Even got veggie and fruit type stuff.
And now I'm home, and now I get to do some work. *nods* Need to get some more stuff done.

And all the familiar landmarks. I managed to buy my favorites - Powell's, Saturday Market, etc. Though to be fair, I only got the Japanese Gardens because (a) we played this one with the auction rule, a mistake we won't make again, and (b) Scott let me get them at auction when I made big puppy-dog eyes, even though I was almost broke and he was not remotely.
I still lost, mind. I just got to 'own' those places, first. ;)
