So I got a happy-birthday phone call from the CEO, a day late. I was away from my desk so he left a message, and he was on a cell phone, and it was cutting in and out (which I don't think he was aware of). But that's okay, in an odd way, it was still kinda cool.
I've been proofing and annotating a document for way too long, but it's getting done. And I have a boss again! I get given too much to do, and...and I go to him and lay out what I've been asked for and the fact that I do need to eat and breathe, and he prioritizes it. YAY! So I'm working on this document, and then I will work on the load that goes on to support it, and then I will work on the document of errors it can produce (after I've written them all in the code!), and then I will double back and pick up the unimportant interruptions. (The important interruptions have already been dealt with.)
