We're having a farewell lunch for a very nice lady who's retiring from our office today, at the restaurant across the street. It's a double-farewell, because ironically, this is the last day that restaurant is having a lunch menu at all.
Thank goodness. Their food is nasty, nasty, nasty. I will probably have to pay for something small there to be nice, but I'll be better served to actually eat at the deli later.
Unfortunately several of my coworkers quite like the place. :) But it's all icky, over-rich, over-priced stuff. The green salad is okay, and probably what I'll get, but....
