Gamer geek night. Scott and I had pizza and garlic twists, and played Everquest for four hours straight.

Much, much fun. Scott leveled; I started the night just into level 13 and now I'm about 30% of the way to level 14. Whee!

Why is swatting things (and being swatted by 'em) so much fun, anyway?

I dinnae know, my friend. DAoC provides the same escape for me. I find myself excited when I see the experience bar move or when another player (from another realm) is swatted down after trying to kill me. (I'm gray, i.e. not many bounty points, to them!) Tis nice to group with higher level characters. ;)
