I've kept my old default for now, but it may get deleted. I like the new one much better. A pic of me with the contacts, not the glasses, even. (Yes, the color balance was touched up a bit. Hehehe. Computer toys!)
Well, it's definately different. With your last picture I could tell with glance that yep, that's Laura. I have to stare at this a bit with full knowledge of who it is before I can see a faint resemblance ;^)
Other than tha fact it doesn't look like you, (at least from the last time I saw you) it's a pretty good picture. :-)
I like the new picture. Of course, not yet having met you face to face (I still hope that I will someday), I can't offer an opinion as to how much any picture looks like the "real" you. I'm not sure that I'd have immediately have connected the old picture and the new one as being of the same person, but it's the sort of thing I'm not very good at.
Makes sense. I like it better - it "feels" more like me, I guess.
But it's a very, very different shot from the old one. Hair up instead of loose; contacts instead of glasses; more of the body so further back from the face; three-quarters instead of full face.
I think that's part of why I like it. I chose the other because it was "okay" and it was soft and pleasant. But this feels like me.
